Oasis S.r.l. is a services and research company, offering technical assistance and business strategy in various commercial and industrial fields.
Oasis could be useful if in yours business objectives there are:
1. Subsidized financing for Business;
2. Research and Innovation technology for the introduction of new products into the market;
3. Renewable Energy;
4. Agricultural Biological control.
Oasis designs innovation for both other company and own research activities.
The Oasis operative structure consists of internal technicians and external consultants, who are knowledgeable in engineering, biology, chemistry, economy, informatics, marketing, agricultural science and applied research.
Research is a strategic activity aimed to realize projects for the Innovation in the new market trends. Invest in Research and Development means improving own products, creating new ones or improving productive processes by the study of technological innovations to use during the productive cycle.
Inside Oasis S.r.l., leaders from different disciplines (academics, researchers, professionals and representatives of public and private enterprises) work in synergy and, in this way, form the distinctive element of research activities necessary to reach ambitious goals.
Our major business consumers operate in food and food transformation industry as well as in the primary industry, the agriculture sector.
Our company raises insects for the biological control of pests in chestnut, hazelnut, walnut and citrus fruit production.
In a short time, we will launch products for the biological control of pest onto the market.
In the last years, the development of technologies for biological control in agriculture has been improved. Through its project BIOTRINE “BIOtechnology for cultures of excellence in Campania: TRIchoderma for lemon cultivation and NEmatodes in chestnut cultivation” started in 2015, Oasis S.r.l. want to develop new methodologies of intervention for the biological control of pest and for the eco-friendly agriculture. In 2017 he started a collaboration with the Department of Environmental Biology (DBA) of the University of Sapenza in Rome, the Faculty of Agriculture of UNIMOL and the IPSP of the CNR. The collaborations have given life to a research and development project entitled "Development of innovative products that induce resistance and biostimulant" applicable in organic and integrated farming methods (IPM). (Acronym: POSSIBLE) "lasting 36 months for an amount of 1,335 ml. The project was awarded by SMAU - Milan in 2018, in the field of biotechnology for agriculture
Biostimulants have been talked about for some time: the term was first proposed in 1997 to indicate "substances that applied in limited quantities promote plant growth".
These products have long been a sort of "Cinderella" of agriculture, if we consider that both the European Union and the United States do not yet have specific legislation on the subject.
Yet the European market is the most important market in the world for biostimulants, with around 30% of consumption, otherwise distributed in the various continents, from China, Australia, Russia, North and South America.
The biostimulant sector in the world has grown from 250 million dollars in 1999 to 2 billion in 2017, with the prospect of reaching 3 billion in 2021. Europe moves a turnover of 500 million euros a year, half thanks to exports, with 2000 people employed, while in Italy the turnover is 40 million with an annual growth of 10%. In fact, our country is a global leader, with important investments in research and development and, unlike its European counterparts, a national legislation which, although incomplete, at least partially fills the void that characterizes this sector.
Legislative Decree 75/2010, then amended on 10/07/2013, includes biostimulants in the so-called Specific Action Products, defined as substances, other than fertilizers and pesticides, which favor or regulate the absorption of nutrients or correct physiological anomalies. They can be applied to the seed, plant or soil.
They range from algae extracts, humic acids, plant or animal hydrolysates (simple compounds derived from organic compounds), to mycorrhizae.
Depending on the type of product, various interesting benefits are obtained, for example the improvement of germination, growth, setting and resistance to stress such as drought, salinity and high temperatures. Other formulations exert a positive effect on the rhizogenesis and on the radical absorption of nutrients. Still others influence the quality of the product, increasing the nutraceutical substances in fruit and vegetables.
It is clear that these characteristics make biostimulants very current technical means, in consideration of some objectives of the agriculture of the XXI century, such as the increase of plant resilience and the sustainability of cultivation techniques. Furthermore, an increasingly decisive factor is the growing acceptance and approval of consumers for the use of natural products in agriculture.
This is why both the EU and the US have finally decided to adopt adequate legislative instruments.
