5Social Srl develops hardware and software applications aimed at reducing the inconvenience of families in times of difficulty, such as unexpected socio-medical and/or medical events, supporting them in identifying the most suitable solutions for immediate needs, using the web and social world.
In addition to ensure the development of these tools, 5Social actively engages in spreading a culture of sharing experiences as a tool to solve the user’s temporary need.
The increasingly widespread digital culture as well as the careful and flexible assistance to those who are not digital natives offer multiple tools able to reduce the discomfort of the Family Unit as a whole.
Hagile is the first platform aimed at managing and optimizing socio-medical transports.
It arised from the experience of those who carried out and coordinated these services, detecting problems that often fall on the end user.
It aims to allow the user, private or public, to find the best solution to organize and manage a socio-medical transport, from the research of a provider to the service conclusion.
Hagile is the assistant who works alongside the user and the provider, ensuring both that the service is the best desirable.
The main purposes of this platform are to refer to the adoption of a philosophy of lean and monitored management of socio-medical services. Through multi-channel tools, which range from the telephone assistant through the web and mobile channels to accessibility by professionals, the platform supports the choice, assignment and remuneration of the supplier.

The business model CANVAS, with which we analyzed the project, highlighted that it is a HUB of services with a high social value, which, through a fair compensation measured on gross cost/km, does a quotation and a final balance integrated by a service commission that includes system charges, cashbacks, R&D fees and a security percentage on the returns.
Hagile will spread through synergies with transport organizations, health professionals and local authorities to focus on users’ needs to provide, also online, the best possible solution.
Up to now, we requested the cooperation, which will be formalized after the DEMO presentation, to:
• a recently established social cooperative that will support us in the widespread response where associations oppose cooperation
- two associations with an established historicality in the service to the private sector, with which there is a possibility of comparison.
Hagile enters with courage, breaking traditional practices, into the socio-medical transport system, introducing constant monitoring and agile usability for families. This activity will also help different organizations keep the individual at the center, offering an increasingly reliable and professional service. Transport shall be characterized by the care for the need and the offer of solutions.
It shall be kept in mind that we will find many realities, which, before joining, will want to discuss with their management since they often have corporate obligations, that is, if it is impossible to perform a service, this must be transmitted exclusively to one's own "sisters" and not to other organizations, etc.
To date, there are no relevant competitors as for project similarity. Only 2 realities seem to have similar ideas, namely:
Saluber, a platform close to launch in the Campania area. The solution appears as an ongoing booking system, as happens for a taxi or private hire car service. They do not report making needs assessment by crossing suitable resources. They never talk about social impact, but only about economic return.
Ambulanza.eu based on its own means, non-transparent and with feedback information managed by its operators.
Their philosophies and strategies are very far from the inspiring principles of Hagile, that is the involvement of the actors on the territory without creating duplicates, the structuring of fair compensation for the users, the synergy to spread a new organizational model aimed at professional operators and at their contribution to operation and diffusion.

Hagile®, as stated above, overturns the habits and introduces the principle of valuing the other. The platform, its practices, its channels want to move the dynamics of closure and protectionism of its own non-role, often implemented by operating organizations. The services for people are currently managed by National and/or Local Associations, Cooperatives and, in some cases, by Corporations. Each of these actors tends to create a bubble effect of limited collaboration or autonomous drive to affirm their presence in the surrounding area. This behavior generates negative effects on the end user, who suffers economic burdens or inefficiencies that would be avoidable with a shared collaboration system. Hagile® becomes the third non-competing party, which involves any reality in the territory, encouraging models of comparison and cooperation. It imposes to its partners only the obligation to constantly confront themselves with a code of democratic and ethical behavior, cooperating in a view of sharing for the common good. Hagile® entrusts to the “democracy” of digital logics the analysis and choices based on distance, cost, time, equipment, putting the patient at the center and neglecting the logics of belonging. To abandon the restrictive logics of the current system based on conventions will make the approach more flexible and economic, even for the professional realities of the socio-medical sector that will be able to organize themselves with greater reliability according to the immediate and manageable needs. Even the public function will benefit from the platform thanks to the potential of Transparency, Timeliness and Monitoring of resources and costs. Hagile® will have tools and knowledge that will be exploitable in parallel by several intervention segments, thus ensuring an economic saving. With Hagile® we will no longer say “IT WAS ALWAYS DONE THIS WAY”, but we will cooperate to create and implement a new service model.
